Cayuga Genetics is an Ithaca NY-based start-up focused on biofortification, enhancing the nutritional quality of crops like maize and wheat. Biofortified crops should enhance the efficiency of animal agriculture and differentiate our or our partners’ products. Our founder is a pioneer in biofortification, having improved the iron nutritional quality in maize by conventional breeding alone, validating this achievement with poultry feeding studies. We are an early stage company and seek investors, strategic partners, and to grow the founder team.
